Renewal Project information

This work is now complete and we thank all those whose contributions made it such a success. We are leaving this page online as a record of what went on.

-----------------

The St.Thomas Renewal Project refers to a major renewal of the church building and facilities. We are doing this work in order to make sure that St.Thomas can continue as a house of prayer at the heart of Lymington, and continue as an important community facility for large gatherings. The watchwords for the Renewal Project are Flexibility, Accessibility and Beauty.

Access during the works
From January to June 2011 the main worship area of St.Thomas will be closed for the renovation works. During this time, most services will be held in the adjoining Hall, with Family Time moving to Lymington Infants School. Midweek services will be held in the Vestry, accessed via the Hall. The office will be accessed via the main Hall doors, then turn right through the doors and up the stairs. The 'pigeon holes' with members' post will be at the bottom of those stairs.
