Vacancy: Parish Administrator

The Church of England Parish of St.Thomas and All Saints, Lymington is seeking a replacement for its current Parish Administrator who is shortly to retire.

Job Description.

The job is based in the St.Thomas’ church office in Lymington High Street.

The Parish Administrator is primarily responsible for managing the church office and responding to all enquiries from the Parish community, serving as the first point of contact for all enquiries about activities, ecclesiastical and otherwise, within the Parish.

There is a significant administrative component to the job which includes managing the booking systems for the hire of the church hall and the church for baptisms, weddings, funerals and other events.

In addition, the Parish Administrator is expected to manage cash and other financial transactions related to the work of the Parish.

A key part of the job is the co-ordination of the different users of the church and the church hall.
