Christian Aid is an international development charity. We work with people, of all faiths and none, in around 50 countries, to eradicate poverty.
Leprosy Mission provides care for those suffering from this infectious disease mostly occurring alongside poverty. A cure is easy and available but the stigma surrounding it causes reluctance to acknowledge the early symptoms. If treated early the resulting disfigurement would be prevented. Underpinned by prayer, the aim of the Leprosy Mission is that by education, treatment, counselling & advocacy Leprosy will be defeated and lives transformed!
Mission Aviation Fellowship Working in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations, MAF enables practical help, physical healing and spiritual hope to be delivered to some of the world’s most remote and inaccessible communities
Mission to Seafarers Whether caring for victims of piracy, providing a lifeline to seafarers stranded in foreign ports, or simply providing a space to relax and a listening ear, the Mission to Seafarers is on hand night and day to support the world’s 1.5 million seafarers.
New Forest Basics Bank are an independent food bank supporting local households in need. The Basics Bank offers non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items, and basic household essentials. The food parcels have sufficient supplies for one week for one person and is increased to cover the number of family members for which a request is made.
